Some of us enjoy our meals so much that we tend to make a little noise while we are eating, and..
Sometimes we make a LOT of noise, because we are in a hurry shoveling food in our mouth, trying to get our food from point A to point B, as quickly as possible (Basically we want to get our food from our plate which is point A, to our belly point B, fast 🙂 and we really don’t want to waste too much time getting it there..
After all isn’t the quickest way to get from point A to point B a straight line, without any detours or delays.
Straight from the plate to my belly, let’s go..
Let’s not dilly dally around here, we need to get the task at hand done and quickly, my stomach waits for no one.
Sometimes we are eating so fast, that we begin to make strange noises..
And because breathing is just as important as eating, we also have to remember to take a quick break and pause from time to time to let air pass through, so that we can breathe and stay alive.
Staying alive is important, but breathing isn’t so easy with a box on your head.. Will you stop staring so I can take this box off and eat in peace.
I only have this box on my head to keep the sun out of my eyes, It’s not because I’m ashamed or embarrassed of eating too fast.
( Breathe in, breathe out..Breathe in, breathe out… )
All this breathing is wasting way too much time and it’s cutting into my alone time with my dinner!
So how do you know when you are making too much noise when you are eating? (Here is a little hint)
You are probably making a little too much noise when you are eating if…
Someone in another room hears you eating and tells you to turn off the vacuum cleaner because they can’t hear the TV and the loud noise is interfering with the TV reception… then maybe you need to slow down and chew a little more quietly…
*Although we make light of this bad habit with a little humor, please take this matter seriously and try not to eat too fast. Eating slowly and chewing your food carefully is so much better for your digestion and health.
